Luckily, I was able to seize the clear morning on Boxing Day, starting my journey at 10pm on Christmas night and spending the night at the foot of the hike. The resulting sunrise atop the Storr was nothing short of breathtaking, with the snow beautifully enhancing the rugged landscape.
